Amanda Midgley

Amanda is a proud Wiradjuri and Yuwibara woman based on Yuggera and Yugambeh Country. She has 19 years’ experience with the Queensland Public Service, including 12 years at Office of the Public Guardian. As the Senior Intake Officer in the Views, Wishes and Preferences team, she leads client engagement to identify priorities and ensure person‑centred, human‑rights focused decisions and culturally informed practice. Amanda also contributed to policy reforms at the First Nations Justice Office, working to address the over‑representation of Aboriginal and Torres Strait Islander peoples in the justice system.
