Alison is a disability advocate and peer leader who lives in Brisbane with her dog, Banjo. As a QDN peer leader, she has facilitated, co-designed and hosted many events and programs in the disability and advocacy space, helping people understand what it’s like to live with disability and working to make things better. She’s currently passionate about music, disability rights, sport and housing. Alison was a QDN Emerging Leader in 2022 and is the Vice Chairperson of Speaking Up For You (SUFY), supporting people with disability to have their rights upheld and their voices heard.
